Eva Vrtacnik, oboe

Eva Vrtacnik is a Slovenian oboe player. After receiving her master’s degree at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana with Matej Sarc, she continued her studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Music with Max Artved and Joakim Dam Thomsen and is currently in the soloist class at the Syddansk Musikkonservatorium with Henrik Skotte. After having been on contract in Odense Symfoniorkester for 2 seasons as the solo english horn player,

Eva is now on contract with the Esbjerg Ensemble. Eva has played with many different orchestras and ensembles in Slovenia, Sweden and Denmark including the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra.
